Collarts is seeking a Sydney Marketing Manager to lead its flagship campus at Waterloo, guiding school visits, activations and the launch event, and driving enrolments.
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will own the Sydney plan, prioritise work, and lead a small team across events, schools engagement, graphics and video. This hands-on role requires budget management and cross-team collaboration with Melbourne.
Collarts has opened its flagship Sydney campus in Waterloo, and we’re looking for a Sydney Marketing Manager to lead it in market. This is a rare chance to shape how a creative college arrives in Australia’s biggest city — from the first school visit and street activation to the launch event and every enrolment that follows.
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer and sitting in our marketing leadership team, you’ll be our on-the-ground marketing lead for Sydney. You’ll own the Sydney marketing plan, turn a long list of big ideas into a prioritised program of work, and lead a small Sydney team covering events, schools engagement, graphics and video.
It’s a hands‑on role with real strategic weight. One day you’re deciding the ten things that will move the needle most; the next you’re making twenty calls to schools, partners and venues to make them happen. You’ll manage the Sydney launch marketing budget and work closely with campus operations, recruitment, academic leaders and our marketing specialists in Melbourne.
Collarts (and its predecessor Ausmusic) began more than 30 years ago with three programs, a handful of students and a small team of dedicated lecturers. Our foundation disciplines were music and audio – a proudly rock and roll start - we've grown into one of Australia’s leading creative education providers.
Today, operating as Collarts, we teach more than 2,000 students from over 30 countries across four campuses and 50 partner high schools. We offer 24 degree programs, 5 vocational certificates and we’re ranked Australia #1 Creative Arts Course Provider according to the 2024 Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching (QILT) national surveys.
Our community includes award winning artists, industry leaders and respected educators across music, screen, design, fashion and creative industries.
We're a team that genuinely lives our values — curiosity, kindness, connection, courage and mastery. We make space for people to experiment, back each other, and bring their whole selves to work. If you love the creative industries and want to build something from the ground up in Sydney, you'll fit right in.
