OUR VISION

To be the global leader in creative education, chosen by creatives, trusted by industry.

YOUR ROLE, HONESTLY

The Marketing Coordinator is a hands‑on coordination role within JMC’s Customer function, reporting to the Head of Brand & Campaigns.

This position is the engine room of the Brand & Campaigns team. It coordinates the delivery of approved brand and campaign activity across domestic and international markets keeping projects on track, stakeholders aligned, and assets moving from brief to delivery on time, on budget and on brand.

The Head of Brand & Campaigns sets brand and campaign strategy, approves plans, briefs, creative and spend, and leads the team. The Marketing Coordinator turns those approved plans into well‑run delivery: preparing and tracking briefs, maintaining the campaign calendar, coordinating production and suppliers, supporting events, and collating the data and reporting the Head uses to make decisions.

The role works daily with the Designer, Copywriter and Social Media Lead as peers within the team, and liaises regularly with CRM, Website, Events, Student Recruitment, Admissions & Onboarding, International and Finance colleagues.

The successful candidate will coordinate six interconnected workstreams: Campaign Coordination & Delivery, Asset Production & Brand Support, Supplier, Print & Merchandise Coordination, Events & Expo Coordination, Reporting & Performance Support, and Team Workflow & Stakeholder Liaison.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Campaign Coordination & Delivery
  • Coordinate approved campaigns across domestic and international markets, ensuring timely, on‑budget and quality delivery.
  • Maintain the integrated campaign calendar, tracking milestones, deadlines, events and intake periods.
  • Prepare briefs for internal creatives and external agencies based on approved campaign plans.
  • Track workstreams, identify delays and elevate risks to the Head of Brand & Campaigns.
  • Liaise with CRM and Website teams to align campaign assets, email sequences, landing pages and digital updates.
  • Coordinate day‑to‑day delivery with JMC’s digital marketing agency within approved campaign parameters.
Asset Production & Brand Support
  • Coordinate campaign asset production across print, digital, social, video, outdoor and event channels.
  • Check materials against brand guidelines and obtain the Head of Brand & Campaigns’ approval before publication or distribution.
  • Maintain an organised, version‑controlled digital asset library.
  • Coordinate Course Guide and prospectus production, including timelines, feedback, quotes and delivery.
  • Manage UAC, QTAC and VTAC course listings and digital assets, ensuring required content and brand approvals before publication.
Supplier, Print & Merchandise Coordination
  • Obtain and compare supplier quotes, recommending options based on quality, cost and turnaround.
  • Manage supplier relationships, briefings, schedules, quality checks and deliveries.
  • Coordinate merchandise stocktakes, event stock and new merchandise requirements within approved budgets.
  • Book and coordinate photographers, videographers and freelance creative talent, including briefs, scheduling and invoices.
  • Support budget administration through purchase orders, invoices, spend tracking and reporting variances.
Events & Expo Coordination
  • Coordinate marketing collateral and promotional activity for Open Days, orientations, showcases and graduations.
  • Manage Major Expo bookings, vendor rates, stand design, lead‑generation materials, stock and post‑event reporting.
  • Liaise with the Events team to translate event briefs, logistics and audience profiles into marketing requirements.
  • Support on‑site event marketing, including Open Days and key campus events.
Reporting & Performance Support
  • Compile data and draft inputs for weekly CEO and monthly Board reports for the Head of Brand & Campaigns’ review.
  • Track campaign metrics, including cost per lead, conversion rates, engagement and reach.
  • Audit campaign assets and channels for accuracy, consistency and brand alignment.
  • Support post‑campaign reviews by collating performance data, documenting learnings and tracking actions.
  • Maintain accurate, accessible data and files across team systems.
Student Ambassador & Graduate Talent Collaboration

Coordinate student ambassador and recent graduate involvement in campaign and event content creation, working within the Outreach team’s programme, brand standards, licensing and approval framework.

  • Identify opportunities for ambassador photography, videography and content capture during campaign and event planning.
  • Prepare shoot and event briefs covering objectives, shot lists, usage, brand requirements, timings and contacts.
  • Coordinate ambassador schedules, logistics and access with the Social Media Lead.
  • Liaise with academic and campus teams to arrange coverage of classes, performances, showcases and campus life through the ambassador programme.
  • Check content against briefs and brand guidelines, ensuring releases and licensing are in place before approval.
  • File approved content with accurate usage rights and campus tags in the digital asset library.
  • Track content usage and share performance feedback with the Social Media Lead.
  • Escalate licensing, usage‑rights and quality concerns before publication or distribution.
Team Workflow & Stakeholder Liaison
  • Coordinate communication and workflows between the Designer, Copywriter and Social Media Lead.
  • Share campaign timelines, events, stories, partnerships and brand moments with the Social Media Lead to align social content.
  • Coordinate reviews and approvals, ensuring final sign-off by the Head of Brand & Campaigns.
  • Build relationships across Customer, Student Recruitment, Admissions, International, CRM, Digital and Finance teams, coordinating partner marketing inclusions and brand assets.
  • Support compliance checks against TEQSA, ESOS, Australian advertising standards and data privacy requirements, escalating concerns to the Head of Brand & Campaigns.
  • Participate in team planning, campaign briefings and post‑campaign reviews, contributing ideas and practical solutions.

Essential Requirements

  • Familiarity with the Australian higher education landscape, including tertiary admissions centres (UAC, QTAC, VTAC) and education portals
  • Exposure to digital asset management systems and brand‑governance processes
  • Event marketing and coordination experience in a consumer-facing environment
  • A genuine interest in or connection to the creative industries — music, film, audio, design, animation or gaming
