Job summary

Southern Cross Care Queensland is hiring a permanent full-time Marketing Coordinator to join the Communications and Marketing Team at the Upper Mt Gravatt Support Office. You will coordinate social media, content, collateral and day-to-day requests, ensuring campaigns align with organisational priorities.

This role is ideal for someone starting their career in a supportive environment, offering growth and training within a Not-for-Profit setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year experience or new graduates.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Proven ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and social media platforms.
• Experience with Mailchimp, WordPress, SharePoint is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the communications and marketing team, including managing the marketing inbox and logging jobs.
• Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns across digital, print and social channels.
• Support management of social media accounts: content creation, scheduling, engagement monitoring.
• Plan and coordinate marketing events such as conferences and trade shows.
• Assist the Senior Digital Marketing Specialist with online sales listings on the website and paid/unpaid listings.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a permanent full-time Marketing Coordinator to join our Communications and Marketing Team, based at our Support Office in Upper Mt Gravatt.

About the role

Working as aMarketing Coordinator youwill play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of Southern Cross Care's marketing and communications activities, coordinating social media, content, collateral and day-to-day marketing requests. The role works across the team to support campaigns, events and key projects, helping ensure marketing activity is engaging, consistent and aligned with organisational priorities.

What are the key responsibilities?

• Support the Senior Digital Marketing Specialist with online sales listings across our website and both paid and unpaid online listings

What will you bring to the role?

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Advertising or similar, or relevant experience deemed the equivalent
• Experience: 1- year experience or new graduates
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and social media platforms
• Desired experience with Mailchimp, WordPress, SharePoint
