Job summary

Journey Beyond, Australia’s leading experiential tourism group, is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support the Marketing & Communications team in developing, implementing and managing marketing campaigns. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will collaborate across print, TVC, digital, social and events, briefing creative, tracking results and maintaining brand consistency.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications and about 1 year in a similar role; experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications is required or highly preferred.
  • 1 year in a similar marketing role is highly desirable.
  • Experience in travel or hospitality is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated understanding and use of digital technologies and media.
  • Social media community management and content planning experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience with website content management systems would be desirable.
  • Basic experience with Google Analytics would be desirable.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-business environment with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Support campaign planning, execution and reporting across all media channels including print, TVC, native advertising, digital, search, social, radio and OOH.
  • Collaborate with the creative team on briefing and reviewing campaign assets, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Assist with tracking email campaign results and planning calendars.
  • Ensure website content is up to date and aligned with campaign execution.
  • Assist with weekly press ads and weekly activity summaries.
  • Assist in organizing and executing events, activations and media famils.
  • Contribute to guest communications, including emails and website updates.
  • Contribute to social media planning, community management, search and blog content.
  • Perform general administrative duties.

About The Role

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator will support and assist the Marketing & Communications team to develop, implement and manage marketing campaigns.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting campaign planning, execution and reporting across all media channels and platforms including print, TVC, native advertising, digital, search, social, radio and OOH
  • Work collaboratively with the creative team on briefing and reviewing campaign assets, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines
  • Assisting with tracking email campaign results and planning calendars
  • Ensure website content is up to date and aligned with campaign execution
  • Assisting with weekly press ad submissions and weekly activity summaries
  • Assisting in the organizing and execution of events, activations and media famils
  • Contributing to the development and rollout of guest facing branding, signage and printed collateral
  • Contributing to guest communications, including emails and website updates
  • Contributing to social media planning, community management, search and blog content
  • General administrative duties

About You

You are an energetic, self-starter with the ability to demonstrate that you are highly organised with strong time management skills. You have the ability to adapt quickly and professionally to new and evolving situations, while having the ability to showcase your initiative and creative thinking skills.

You will also have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications
  • 1 year in a similar role highly desirable
  • Experience in the travel or hospitality industry highly desirable
  • Demonstrated understanding and use of the digital technologies and media
  • Social media community management and content planning experience highly desirable
  • Experience with website content management systems would be desirable
  • Basic experience with Google Analytics would be desirable
  • Works well in a fast paced, multi-business environment with tight deadlines
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and establish stakeholder relationships
  • Highly proficient in all Microsoft Suite programs
