Stepwise Community Services (formerly Metro Assist) works with individuals, families and communities of diverse backgrounds, including migrants and refugees, to build resilience and independence. We deliver refugee settlement support, employment services, family services, emergency relief, tenancy advice, financial counselling and community development programs across Sydney.
We're currently strengthening and evolving our service delivery model as part of a broader period of organisational growth, making this an exciting time to shape how our story is told.
As our Marketing and Communications Lead, you will own the delivery of our marketing, communications and brand activity, from strategy through to hands-on execution. This is a true generalist role: one day you might be advising the CEO on a media opportunity, the next drafting a newsletter, briefing a design supplier, or coordinating an annual report.
You will work closely with the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, and service delivery leaders to turn our program outcomes, impact evidence and community stories into clear, compelling communications across digital, print and media channels. There are no direct reports, which suits someone who thrives working autonomously and wearing multiple hats.
Stepwise Community Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We welcome applications from all cultures, ages, religions, genders, LGBTQIA+ people, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and people with disabilities. Employment is subject to a satisfactory National Police Check and current Working with Children Check.
