Job summary

Morrisons Market Street, Adelaide, is seeking a hands-on Store Manager who will lead our Market Street craft teams with pride. You’ll bring a sleeves rolled up attitude to keep counters stocked, highlight our foodmaker credentials, and ensure shoppers receive the very best service.

You’ll inspire your team, own shift scheduling and training, and build a supportive, performance‑driven culture. Work with other store teams to plan resources and keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience leading, supporting, and bringing out the best in a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Natural communicator who shares knowledge and keeps everyone in the loop.
• Builds strong working relationships across the store team and adapts to new ways of doing things.
• Listens to customers and colleagues, acting on feedback to improve each shift.
• Willing to step in as Manager in Charge, running shifts smoothly and upholding food safety standards.

Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you’ll lead our Market Street craft teams with pride. You'll bring a "sleeves rolled up" attitude to make sure our counters are fully stocked, our foodmaker credentials shine, and our shoppers get the very best service.

In this role, you’ll be on hand to:

• Put customers first: Inspire your team to deliver outstanding service, listening to customer feedback and making sure Market Street is always vibrant and well-stocked.
• Lead and develop your team: Take real ownership of shift scheduling, training, and talent conversations, giving your colleagues the confidence to succeed and grow.
• Build a supportive culture: Work alongside other Managers to lead an encouraging, performance-driven department where people work with purpose.
• Keep operations running smoothly: Plan resources thoroughly, manage department budgets, and build strong relationships with other operating teams across the store.
