Westpac is seeking an Engineer for the Market Risk Limits squad. You will build AI-enabled tools and Java applications, owning design, build, testing and deployment.

The role involves data integrations, reconciliations, and production support across Market Risk and trading technology. You will gain hands-on exposure to market risk, regulatory changes and vendor teams, working in a collaborative environment with a focus on learning and end-to-end delivery.

Formación

• Hands-on engineering experience across design, build, testing and production support.
• Experience building AI-enabled tools or agents for operational use.
• Proficiency in Java applications and end-to-end delivery of regulatory or product changes.

Responsabilidades

• Build AI-enabled tools and agents to automate investigations and data quality checks.
• Develop and enhance Java applications, owning delivery from design through to release.
• Gain hands-on exposure to Market Risk, trading platforms and regulatory changes (e.g., FRTB/APS116).
• Own DevOps and deployment, including CI/CD, environment management and automated testing.
• Provide production support and collaborate with Market Risk, Front Office, Technology and vendors.
