Job summary

Biogen seeks a Senior Market Access Manager to lead reimbursement, pricing strategy, and policy for Australia and New Zealand. You will coordinate submissions to PBAC, MSAC and PHARMAC, shape market access strategies, and support stakeholder engagement across cross-functional teams to ensure patient access and business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is mandatory.
• Master’s degree strongly preferred in a science/analytic field (epidemiology, Public Health, Health Economics).
• 5+ years of biotech/pharmaceutical experience in pricing- and/or reimbursement-related role.
• Understanding and application of Evidence-Based Medicine/Health Technology Assessment (HTA) principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepares reimbursement submissions to PBAC, MSAC and PHARMAC, including state health department and hospital funding where required.
• Tracks budgets, deliverables, and timelines; ensures alignment with MA Head and team.
• Develops understanding of evidence, local clinical need, and treatment landscape.
• Explores data generation and analyses, including real-world evidence for submissions.
• Integrates consumer and patient input into submissions and evidence plans per HTA expectations.
• Navigates pricing pathways using global/regional guidance and approvals.
• Supports business development activities as needed.
• Supports pipeline product needs and Target Product Profile development.
• Contributes to business planning with Market Access perspective integrated across functions.
