Job summary

Qualifications

• Broad understanding of the Australian VET sector and maritime industry.
• Interfacing with industry bodies, training providers, employers and regulators.
• Negotiation and presentation capabilities.
• Personnel management experience.
• Ability to research, design and implement integrated employment and training programs.

Responsibilities

• Managing end-to-end traineeship administration, including preparation, lodgement and tracking of all contracts and paperwork.
• Maintaining accurate trainee records to ensure compliance with regulatory, funding and audit requirements.
• Acting as primary point of contact for traineeship queries from trainees, host employers, RTOs and government agencies.
• Collaborating with the Operations Coordinator for onboarding, induction and completion documentation.
• Supporting planning of trainee rosters and logistics of trainee movements.
• Providing admin support to the CEO and METL team, including reporting and data collation.
• Contributing to continuous improvement of GTO processes and documentation.
