The Department of Defence, through the Maritime Warfare Centre, seeks an engineer to support the development of maritime ranges and test activities to advance naval capability. The role involves analysing proposals, engaging with Defence, industry and government partners, and contributing to knowledge management for the quality system.

You will travel to Australian ranges to plan and execute exercises, trials and programs, supporting both current fleets and emerging systems.

Formación

• Bachelor of Engineering (Hon) from an Australian institution or Washington Accord recognized
• Experience in systems engineering, capability development, or maritime warfare domain highly regarded
• Strong interest in supporting Navy and applying engineering knowledge to improve warfighting capability

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to development of systems supporting minimising undersea ships signatures and testing
• Analyse, evaluate and provide independent technical advice on capability proposals
• Engage with Defence, industry and government stakeholders to align capabilities with requirements
• Define, implement and maintain knowledge management frameworks and databases for Quality Management System
