Job summary

Queensland Government's Transport and Main Roads Rockhampton division seeks a Marine Officer - Grade 3 to support waterways safety and governance. You will manage external and internal stakeholder relationships, assist with compliance and investigations, and handle other role accountabilities as required.

Mandatory qualifications include MSIC with criminal history check, a C class driver licence, current first aid, Coxswain Grade 1 Near Coastal, and a Certificate IV in Government Investigations

Qualifications

• Pass a MSIC check that includes a criminal history check.
• Hold a valid Queensland C class driver licence.
• Hold a current first aid certificate or have the ability to obtain one.
• Hold a Coxswain Grade 1 Near Coastal certificate of competency or higher.
• Hold a Certificate IV in Government Investigations or have the ability to obtain one within six months of commencement.
