Job summary

Medtronic in Adelaide is seeking an Electrophysiology Mapping Specialist to join the Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) team. You will provide clinical and technical support to physicians and staff, helping drive adoption of the Affera mapping system and related CAS products.

Reporting to the Mapping Specialist Manager, you will train customers, collaborate with sales and clinical teams, and travel up to 25% as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus a minimum of 6 years in cardiac mapping and navigation.
• Bachelor degree plus 2 years in cardiac mapping and navigation desirable.
• Valid driver’s licence and own transport required.
• Experience with 3D electrophysiology mapping and navigation systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and technical support and training to physicians and staff on EP mapping and CAS products.
• Educate hospital staff on CAS products and related procedures.
• Promote safe and effective use of CAS products and procedures.
• Help achieve regional sales objectives across all CAS products.
• Develop and cultivate customer relationships to grow business.
• Collaborate with local sales team to conduct customer training for mapping and CAS products.

Cardiac Ablation Solutions offers cardiac mapping and ablation solutions to treat patients with abnormal heart rhythms. It is focused on disrupting and leading the market with advanced ablation catheters, cardiac mapping systems, and conventional electrophysiology products. Our Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) portfolio is growing, and we are seeking a Electrophysiology (EP) Mapping Specialist to join our team based in Adelaide, SA. Reporting into the Mapping Specialist Manager, the EP Mapping Specialist will provide technical, clinical and sales support, in collaboration with the sales team, within the region or assigned territory in support of the launch and adoption of the EP mapping and navigation system (Affera), the Pulse Select PFA system, and all products within the Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) portfolio.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Provide clinical and technical support and training to physicians and staff on the EP mapping and navigation system and all CAS products.
• Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters relating to CAS products and related procedures.
• Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures.
• Understand and support national, regional and territory sales objectives to achieve or exceed sales goals within all CAS products.
• Develop and cultivate customer relationships resulting in incremental business.
• Collaborate and strategize with local sales team to conduct customer training for mapping and other CAS products.
• Collaborate and communicate with the sales and clinical teams in the region.
• Serves as an effective Medtronic CAS representative to physicians and support staff regarding Medtronic CAS products, service and support.
• Serve as a regional champion to share your experience and influence others to be proficient in the mapping technology.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

Minimum requirement is High school diploma PLUS a minimum of 6 years of work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation. Bachelor degree plus a minimum of 2 years of work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation is desirable. Interstate travel required up to 25%, valid driver’s licence and your own transport is required Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of simple and complex diagnostic and ablation electrophysiology procedures in order to operate as a technical support expert. Demonstrated knowledge of 3D electrophysiology mapping and navigation systems.
