Cochlear is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead and manage manufacturing resources to deliver short term targets in line with the overall manufacturing strategy. The role will require the development and execution of plans to meet critical business outcomes including developing people and teams, achieving quality and delivery targets, while maintaining a safe work environment.

This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract based in either Cochlear’s Macquarie University or Lane Cove sites.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years experience in a similar role.
• Lean manufacturing culture leader, excited to be a problem solver and waste eliminator.
• Confident communication in 1:1 or group settings to influence outcomes.
• Ability to prioritise and deliver business needs and explain the why to the team.
• Ability to work at Macquarie University and Lane Cove sites.
• Willingness to work morning and afternoon shifts.

Aufgaben

• Establish, develop and coach team to meet current and future business needs.
• Drive short term delivery of production targets in People, Quality, Capacity, Customer Service and Cost.
• Identify and manage risks to volume, quality or cost with cross-department collaboration.
• Apply lean tools consistently across Manufacturing.
• Support introduction and commercialisation of new technologies and products with V&V and PIP teams.
• Lead continuous improvement programs to increase capacity and reduce cost.
• Develop and maintain a talent plan in collaboration with departments.
• Engage team members and leaders through appropriate people processes.
