Job summary

Aglime Fertilisers is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a small, hands-on production team on the factory floor in Marulan. You will operate plant and equipment, assist with bagging products and drive continuous improvement across production activities.

The role requires supervising a blue-collar team, maintaining WHS and quality standards, and coordinating maintenance with the General Manager. Local applicants preferred for a sustainable daily commute to Marulan.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a blue-collar manufacturing or industrial team.
• Current forklift licence and competency.
• Front-end loader competency.
• Good reading, writing and numeracy skills.
• Willingness to undertake production and bagging work.
• Experience with production records and basic analysis, plant maintenance, welding/fabrication and quality systems such as FAMI-QS, HACCP or ISO.

Manufacturing Supervisor – Hands-on Production & Maintenance

Aglime Fertilisers is a quality-focussed agricultural lime fertiliser company on the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales. We are 100% Australian owned and operated, and we have been a part of the community since 1938

We are looking for anexperienced Manufacturing Supervisorto lead our small production team who pulverise, screen and bag limestone products

This is a genuinelyhands-on factory-floor role. You will spend most of your day working alongside the team — operating plant and equipment, bagging product, solving problems and keeping production moving — while also planning and allocating work, supervising the team throughout the day and ensuring jobs are followed through.

The role includes:

Planning daily production and work activities and allocating work across the team

Working hands-on alongside the production team

Supervising and following up work throughout the day

Operating plant, forklifts and front-end loaders

Coordinating and participating in plant and equipment maintenance

Maintaining strong WHS, housekeeping and quality/FAMI-QS standards

Reviewing production, output and downtime and identifying opportunities to improve productivity, quality, safety and plant reliability

Developing teamwork, accountability and capability within a small, experienced workforce

Working closely with the General Manager on production and operational priorities

About you

We are looking for someone who haspreviously supervised a blue-collar manufacturing or industrial team. This is not intended as a first supervisory appointment.

You will be a calm, practical leader who is comfortable giving clear direction and following things through, while working shoulder-to-shoulder with the people you supervise. You will enjoy factory-floor work and have good mechanical aptitude, organisation and problem-solving skills.

You will also need:

Previous hands-on manufacturing, processing, quarrying or comparable industrial experience

Current forklift licence and competency

Front-end loader competency

Good reading, writing and numeracy skills

The physical capacity and willingness to undertake production and bagging work

Experience with production records and basic analysis, plant maintenance, welding/fabrication and quality systems such as FAMI-QS, HACCP or ISO would be well regarded.
