Job summary

Agmin Chelates Pty Ltd is a manufacturing company based in Moolap, Victoria, specialising in assembly and process work. We are seeking a Factory Hand to join our manufacturing team on a full-time basis at our facility in Moolap VIC 3224.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence and experience driving forklifts required.
• Own transport and valid Australian visa/work rights essential.
• Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
• Able to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
• Physically fit for standing and manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform general assembly and manufacturing tasks as directed.
• Operate machinery safely according to procedures.
• Monitor product quality and report defects.
• Prepare workstations and gather materials.
• Pack and label finished products.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow health and safety protocols.
• Assist with inventory and stock rotation as required.

About the role

We are seeking a Factory Hand to join our manufacturing team on a full-time basis at our facility in Moolap VIC 3224. MUST HAVE CURRENT VALID FORKLIFT LICENSE & EXPERIENCE DRIVING FORKLIFTS

MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORT

MUST HAVE CURRENT AUSTRALIAN VISA WORK RIGHTS

Key responsibilities

Performing general assembly and manufacturing tasks as directed by supervisors and production schedules

Operating machinery and equipment safely and according to established procedures and guidelines

Monitoring product quality and identifying any issues or defects that require attention

Preparing workstations and gathering materials needed for production processes

Packaging and labelling finished products in accordance with company standards

Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, including regular housekeeping and waste management

Following all health and safety protocols and reporting any incidents or hazards promptly

Supporting colleagues and working collaboratively as part of the production team

Assisting with inventory management and stock rotation as required

What we're looking for

Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly or process work is advantageous

Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment with minimal supervision

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards

Reliability and punctuality, with the flexibility to adapt to production schedule requirements

Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting materials

Willingness to learn new processes and operate machinery safely

A proactive approach to health and safety in the workplace

Basic communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues

Preferably based in or willing to commute to the Moolap area
