Job summary

EssilorLuxottica in Silverwater, NSW, is seeking a full-time Manufacturing Quality Assurance Coordinator to ensure products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. You will drive problem solving, continuous improvement and adherence to quality systems.

You will hold a manufacturing/engineering degree, bring QA experience in manufacturing, and apply QA methodologies and data analysis. Knowledge of medical devices is a plus, and you will work both independently and in a team to uphold

Qualifications

• Degree in manufacturing or engineering.
• Experience in quality engineering or a related field in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with quality management systems and statistical analysis methods.
• Medical device knowledge is desirable.
• Attention to detail is critical for quality inspections.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain quality management systems in compliance with ISO standards.
• Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.
• Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and improvements.
• Oversee development and execution of inspection/test protocols for materials and finished products.
• Create and update inspection plans, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Maintain records of audits, inspections and test results.
• Prepare and present quality metrics to management.
