Job summary

DGL Group is seeking a Manufacturing Planner to join our Derrimut team. You will develop and manage production schedules, coordinate stock transfers, and work with Production, Purchasing, and Customer Service to ensure on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include ERP data setup, batch records, COAs, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimise manufacturing operations. You will operate in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.

• Maintain production planning data and business rules within the ERP system.
• Process and close batch sheets while maintaining accurate production records.
• Prepare Production Advice and Certificates of Analysis (COAs) to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manufacturing Planner to join our team in Derrimut. In this role, you will develop and manage production schedules to ensure customer orders are delivered on time while supporting efficient manufacturing operations. Working closely with Production, Customer Service, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams, you will coordinate production demand, inventory, and material availability in a fast-paced environment.

Work experience and skills

• Previous experience in manufacturing planning, production scheduling, or supply chain planning.

• Experience with raw material planning, inventory management, and purchasing processes.

• Strong understanding of production planning and procurement systems.

• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyse and interpret data.

• Experience using ERP systems within a manufacturing environment.

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• High attention to detail and a strong customer-focused approach.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• A proactive attitude with a continuous improvement mindset.

• The ability to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team.
