Job summary

DGL Group is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead day-to-day operations at our Carole Park, QLD site. You will ensure safe, efficient production that meets customer standards while driving continuous improvement across planning, quality and cost control.

You will lead production teams, promote a strong safety culture and collaborate with senior leadership to deliver high-performance results through Lean, GMP and 5S practices.

Qualifications

• Experience leading production/manufacturing teams and driving operational performance.
• Qualification in Manufacturing, Production Management, Engineering, Operations Management or related discipline.
• Knowledge of WHS/SHE and quality management systems.
• Experience with Lean, 5S, GMP or similar continuous improvement methodologies.

• Lead and develop production teams through coaching, communication and accountability.
• Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with SHE policies and procedures.
• Manage production planning, capacity, resources and performance to meet customer requirements.

• Ensure compliance with quality systems and manage NCRs and corrective actions.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, hygiene, environmental performance and site security.
• Identify and reduce workplace hazards through employee engagement and risk assessments.
• Manage production costs, procurement requirements and inventory.
• Communicate business objectives, production performance and improvement initiatives to the team.

We’re looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead our team and day-to-day production operations at our Carole Park, QLD site.

About the role

Reporting to the relevant senior leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring production is delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality and customer standards.

Key responsibilities include:

Lead and develop production teams through coaching, communication and accountability.

About You

You will be an experienced production or manufacturing leader with a strong focus on people, safety and operational performance.

You will ideally have:

A qualification in Manufacturing, Production Management, Engineering, Operations Management or a related discipline.

Proven experience in a production/manufacturing leadership role.

Experience managing teams and driving operational performance.

Knowledge of WHS/SHE and quality management systems.

Experience with Lean, 5S, GMP or similar continuous improvement methodologies.

Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving and organisational skills.

A practical, hands-on approach and commitment to achieving high standards.
