Job summary

Dana Lee LLC in Townsville is seeking a hands-on Mill and Folder Operator for a full-time, Monday–Friday role with a consistent 6:00am–2:00pm shift. You will operate production machinery, produce steel products to order, and uphold high safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have prior manufacturing or machine operating experience and can read production orders and drawings. Forklift licence is advantageous but not essential.

With a strong focus on safety, innovation and operational excellence, they are seeking motivated Mill and Folder Operators to join their Townsville manufacturing team.

Your new role

Working Monday to Friday on a consistent 6:00am to 2:00pm shift, you will operate production machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, helping produce steel products to customer specifications while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Your duties will include:

• Operating and monitoring mill or folding machinery
• Setting up and adjusting equipment for production runs
• Reading and interpreting production orders and drawings
• Conducting quality checks on finished products
• Handling steel products safely and efficiently
• Assisting across other production areas as required
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous manufacturing, production or machine operating experience
• Experience as a Mill Operator, Folder Operator, Machine Operator or similar role (desirable)
• Ability to read and follow production instructions and measurements
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• A reliable work ethic and positive attitude
• Strong focus on workplace health and safety
• Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
