Job summary

Etex Australia Pty Ltd, via its Siniat brand, is seeking a proven maintenance leader for our Beenleigh site. You will lead all maintenance and engineering activities, develop a high-performing team, and drive preventive and predictive maintenance to maximise uptime.

You will manage budgets, capital projects, and contractor relationships while fostering a strong safety culture and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations in Australia.

Qualifications

• Significant maintenance leadership experience within an Australian manufacturing, processing or heavy industrial environment.
• Engineering qualifications and/or a trade qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Fitting & Turning or related discipline.
• Strong people leadership skills with the ability to build engagement and accountability.
• Demonstrated success improving equipment reliability, uptime and maintenance performance.
• Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives and driving operational excellence.
• Experience delivering capital projects and managing contractor relationships.
• Sound understanding of safety, quality and environmental systems within manufacturing.
• Experience with SAP or CMMS maintenance systems will be highly regarded.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the business.

About the Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Beenleigh Plant Manager for our Metal business, this role is ideal for a proven maintenance leader who combines strong technical capability with outstanding people leadership skills. Whether your background is as a degree-qualified engineer or a trade-qualified maintenance professional, your success will come from leading teams, driving reliability, improving plant performance, and building a strong safety culture within a manufacturing environment.

As a key member of the site leadership team, you will be responsible for:

• Leading all maintenance and engineering activities across the manufacturing site
