Job summary

DNN Pty Ltd seeks a Manufacturing Manager to lead our Carrum Downs factory in Melbourne, overseeing day-to-day production and workforce allocation. You will ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery while collaborating with engineering, projects and warehouse teams.

Reporting to the MD, you will drive improvements, mentor apprentices, and provide clear production updates to management. This hands-on leadership role rewards practical manufacturing expertise.

Qualifications

• Hands-on leadership in a factory setting.
• Experience with electrical switchboard manufacturing or similar.
• Ability to plan daily/weekly work against delivery dates.
• Strong focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Plan and allocate daily and weekly factory work against delivery dates.
• Monitor job progress, labour hours and production targets; address delays early.
• Coordinate with engineering and warehouse to identify drawings, materials and resources before work begins.
• Maintain quality standards and reduce rework through clear instructions and timely checks.
• Lead, support and hold team members accountable for their work.
• Support apprentices and new employees through structured training and mentoring.
• Maintain a safe, organised factory and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Provide clear production updates to management, including risks, priorities and actions required.
• Improve production processes, workflow and team productivity.
