Job summary

Clark Tanks Pty, part of the Kingspan Group, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead our Dalby operations. Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee daily production, ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery, and drive continuous improvement across the plant.

You will develop and coach a diverse factory team, optimise capacity and resources, partner with Sales and Supply Chain, and champion a safety-first culture. Hands-on leadership on the factory floor is essential.

About the Role:

Reporting to the General Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of our manufacturing operations, ensuring production runs safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

You'll lead a team of committed employees and work closely with other departments to deliver great outcomes for our customers and our business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Leadership: Direct daily manufacturing operations to consistently meet safety, quality and on-time delivery benchmarks.
• Process Oversight: Manage the full production lifecycle, including rotational moulding, assembly, finishing, storage and dispatch.
• Resource Optimisation: Maximise plant capacity, labour efficiency and equipment utilisation to scale output.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor key metrics (KPIs) to identify bottlenecks, minimise machine downtime, and spearhead waste-reduction initiatives.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales and Supply Chain teams to align floor capacity with customer demand forecasts.
• People Development: Lead, coach, and upskill a diverse factory workforce, fostering an environment of continuous learning.
• Safety & Culture: Act as the ultimate champion for a safety-first workplace, ensuring strict compliance with all environmental and OHS regulations.
• Continuous improvement: Cultivate a culture of operational excellence by driving Lead Manufacturing and 6S methodologies on the shop floor.

Ideally you will have:

• Previous experience in a Manufacturing Manager, Production Manager, Operations Manager or similar leadership role
• Strong people leadership and team development skills
• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial or production environment
• A hands-on approach and willingness to be present on the factory floor
• Strong problem solving and organisational skills
• Experience with production planning and continuous improvement
• Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety practices
