An Australian defence company is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support submarine manufacturing processes. Qualifications

• Proven experience in manufacturing engineering within a complex, high-precision production environment.
• Strong understanding of production planning, process optimisation, and quality assurance in regulated industries.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 Defence Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with program teams to develop and document submarine manufacturing processes.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities for capability development, including tooling and technologies.
• Support production readiness plans for the Australian Shipbuilder.
• Participate in production planning and quality assurance initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of lessons learned and improvement opportunities.
• Foster strong working relationships with engineering and production teams.
• Contribute to training materials for Australian manufacturing teams.
