ASC Pty Ltd in Australia seeks a Principal Manufacturing Engineer to lead across manufacturing engineering activities supporting Australia's future nuclear-powered submarines. You will work at the forefront of advanced engineering to establish systems, processes, equipment and production methods for one of the world’s most complex products.

The role is based in Osborne, South Australia, and involves collaborating with engineers, production teams and international partners to ensure

Formación

• Engineering degree recognised by Engineers Australia.
• Extensive experience in manufacturing, production, industrial or process engineering.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, production planning, process optimisation and quality assurance.
• Experience leading complex engineering activities and influencing technical outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Mentoring and developing engineering capability.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical leadership across manufacturing systems, processes and production activities.
• Support development of advanced manufacturing capability for submarine construction.
• Lead technical decision-making and solve complex manufacturing challenges.
• Drive production optimisation, quality, safety and engineering assurance outcomes.
• Support verification, validation and certification for systems and equipment.
• Manage technical risks, issues and opportunities.
• Contribute to design reviews, governance and engineering forums.
• Mentor and develop engineers in the manufacturing discipline.
• Collaborate with shipbuilder partners, suppliers and stakeholders locally and internationally.
