Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems AB is seeking a Manufacturing Automation CI Engineer in Cheltenham, Victoria. The role focuses on optimizing production processes, integrating CAD/CAM, ERP and automation, and driving continuous improvement across multiple sites.

You will lead lean initiatives, manage capital equipment projects, and work closely with engineering, maintenance and procurement to deliver high-quality doors and louvre systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing leadership, engineering or CI.
• Tertiary qualification in engineering with a manufacturing orientation.
• Lean or CI qualifications – CERT IV or DIPLOMA preferable.
• Demonstrated experience leading projects and change in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Improve productivity, capacity, process flow and labour efficiency.
• Implement lean manufacturing and structured continuous improvement.
• Lead projects including capital equipment and technology implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless production processes.
