Job summary

Traka Group is seeking a Manufacturing Automation - CI Engineer in Cheltenham, VIC, with a focus on optimizing door and frame manufacturing through CNC, automation, and data integration. You will work closely with production, engineering, maintenance, IT and procurement to identify bottlenecks and drive improvements.

The role requires strong leadership in manufacturing engineering and continuous improvement, with experience in CAD/CAM, ERP and automation workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing leadership or CI roles.
• Engineering degree with manufacturing focus.
• Lean/CI certification or diploma preferred.
• Experience delivering projects in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven change management with senior/operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Improve productivity, capacity, and process flow.
• Lead lean manufacturing and structured CI initiatives.
• Manage projects including capital equipment and technology implementation.
• Embed change with practical, analytical approach.
• Coordinate with machine manufacturers and system integrators.
