Bacchus Marsh College in Geelong region is seeking a classroom teacher to deliver engaging programs in line with the Victorian curriculum. The role covers Range 1 and Range 2 levels, with focus on planning, preparation and teaching to achieve student outcomes and ongoing professional learning.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning high-impact teaching strategies and evaluating student growth.
• Ability to monitor and assess student learning and communicate progress to families.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and collaborative engagement with the school community.
• Commitment to Department values and ongoing professional learning.

Responsabilités

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students.
• Contribute to curriculum development and program evaluation.
• Undertake other duties as directed by the principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertake other non-teaching supervisory duties.
