Job summary

Qualifications

• SC1 Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including the ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• SC2 Experience in planning high-impact teaching strategies and using data to support growth.
• SC3 Experience in monitoring and assessing student learning and providing feedback.
• SC4 Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
• SC5 Commitment to Department values and ongoing professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum area.
• Undertake other classroom teaching related duties as directed by the Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertaking other non-teaching supervisory duties.
