Job summary

Rockhampton Pharmacy is seeking a Managing Pharmacist Partner to establish and grow a brand-new pharmacy in Rockhampton, Queensland. This is a unique opportunity for a pharmacist to enter a partnership without upfront capital and take ownership in day-to-day operations of the dispensary and retail store.

The partner will work closely with experienced owners to build a high-performing pharmacy focused on patient care, customer service and sustainable growth, while sharing in the day-to-day

Qualifications

• Holds current AHPRA registration and is eligible to practise in Queensland.
• Has pharmacy management or leadership experience.
• Is confident managing both dispensary and retail operations.
• Has strong commercial awareness and understands pharmacy KPIs.
• Is an effective leader who can motivate and develop a team.
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Is passionate about patient care and professional pharmacy services.
• Is ambitious and interested in building a long-term career in pharmacy ownership.
• Is prepared to be hands-on and actively involved in the daily operation of the business.

Responsibilities

• Overall oversight and day-to-day management of the pharmacy and dispensary.
• Managing, mentoring and supporting pharmacy staff.
• Staff rostering, performance and team development.
• Inventory and stock management, including purchasing and stock control.
• Working collaboratively with business partners on operations, strategy and growth.
• Ensuring compliance with Queensland pharmacy legislation and standards.
• Maintaining policies, procedures and quality systems.
• Financial oversight and monitoring of pharmacy performance.
• Establishing, monitoring and achieving KPIs and business targets.
• Driving sales, professional services and overall pharmacy growth.
• Dispensing and patient counselling.
• Delivering and supporting professional health services.
• Building relationships with patients and healthcare providers.
• Maintaining a high standard of presentation, service and efficiency.
