Job summary

Environmental Resources Management in Sydney is seeking an experienced H&S Specialist to lead a range of multidisciplinary health and safety projects. You will work alongside top technical experts on site audits, due diligence and management system development while travelling within Australia and abroad.

The role requires a degree or diploma in health and safety with at least six years of field and audit experience, plus strong knowledge of State and Commonwealth regulations.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in health & safety with a minimum of 6 years of field and audit experience.
• Sound understanding of State and Commonwealth health and safety regulations and their application in a business context.
• Occupational health and contractor management experience would be looked upon favorably.

• Leading safety focused and multidisciplinary projects for ERM clients with a high degree of autonomy.
• Prepare technical reports and conduct site audits as a lead assessor.
• Develop procedures, management systems and risk assessments for a range of industry clients.

This means you will be leading an array of multidisciplinary H&S projects whilst working alongside some of Australia’s outstanding technical experts on a portfolio which includes management system development and implementation, due diligence and compliance. The role also provides the opportunity to travel, both within Australia and internationally. There are several secondment opportunities live in our team currently which you may also be considered for depending on your experience and interest.

We’re looking for a team player with strong interpersonal skills who thrives on variety. You must have solid communication skills and sound technical knowledge in H&S. It would be beneficial if you also have experience in project management, business development and proposal development.

The successful candidate will be degree or diploma qualified in health & safety with a minimum of 6 years of field and audit experience in health & safety or similar and a sound understanding of State and Commonwealth health and safety regulations and their application in a businesses context.
