Job summary

A dynamic Accounting and Advisory firm in West Perth is seeking a Manager for Tax & Business Services. This leadership role involves managing client relationships and overseeing a team of accountants, with opportunities for professional growth and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in tax and/or business advisory.
• Confident communicator and trusted client liaison.
• At least 2 years in a leadership or review role (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Assist with tax planning, entity setups, and business structuring.
• Mentor team members and manage workflow of junior accountants.

A growing, West Perth-based Accounting and Advisory firm with international reach is seeking aManager - Tax & Business Servicesto join its experienced and collaborative team. The firm delivers high-quality tax, compliance, and strategic advice to a broad range of private clients, SMEs, and startups.

This is a leadership role with direct exposure to senior management, offering a mix of client responsibility, team oversight, and advisory work.

Key Responsibilities

• Directly report to the Associate Directors and Managing Director
• Prepare financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals
• Manage BAS, FBT, GST, Payroll Tax, and other statutory compliance
• Assist with tax planning, entity setups, and business structuring
• Maintain and grow strong client relationships
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• Allocate, review, and manage the workflow of 2–3 junior accountants
• Mentor team members and ensure timely, accurate outcomes

About You

• 5+ years' experience in tax and/or business advisory
• Confident communicator and trusted client liaison
• Strong organisation and time management skills
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and outcome-driven
• At least 2 years in a leadership or review role (desirable)
• SMSF knowledge (desirable)
