Ausenco in Adelaide seeks a Manager, Process to lead a high-performing Process Engineering team across the minerals portfolio. You will oversee study scopes from concept through to feasibility and detailed design, while delivering client-focused solutions and ensuring technical integrity.

The role requires strong leadership, an ability to develop teams, and active participation in business development and client meetings. Adelaide-based, with opportunities for travel to project sites.

Formación

• Degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Mineral Processing, Chemical Engineering, Extractive Metallurgy or similar.
• Extensive industry experience in mineral process engineering roles.
• Experience as Lead Process Engineer or above in a design environment.
• Experience with precious metals, base metals or battery minerals.
• Experience across concept to construction stages and site support.
• Demonstrated leadership and people development.
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Business development and client engagement experience.

We are currently seeking a Manager, Process to join our team based in Adelaide. This position will support our continued success and growth across diverse critical minerals. Working across the full lifecycle of projects from scoping studies to feasibilities through to execution, the impacts of your functional leadership as Manager, Process will enable our projects and studies across a diverse portfolio of minerals and metals.

Reporting to the Director, Technical Services NSW, the successful candidate will have the right client and team focus, as well as a commitment to and enthusiasm for continuous improvement.

About The Role

• Review process engineering deliverables to ensure that they meet Ausenco standards and industry best practice
• Assist in writing proposals and hour estimates of work
• Develop rapport with existing clients and assist to grow the minerals client base through face-to-face meetings
• Assist with technical systems development for training and compliance
• Attend occasional site visits to kick off studies
• Where required assist with small technical scopes, be hands on when there are gaps to fill
• Manage the day to day activities of the Process Engineering Team
• Ensure team are meeting development goals and technical standards
• Be involved with the New Professionals program for graduate selection and development
• Represent Ausenco at industry events.

About You

• Degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Mineral Processing, Chemical Engineering, Extractive Metallurgy or similar
• Extensive industry experience with commodity exposure working in a range of mineral process engineering roles
• Previous experience working in a design engineering environment at Lead Process Engineer level or above
• Essential to have experience with commodities including precious, base metals or battery minerals
• You will have practical experience working across different phases of engineering scopes – i.e. concept study, scoping study, pre-feasibility study, feasibility study, detailed design, commissioning, and site support
• Demonstrable practical experience in leading and developing teams
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Business development and growth exposure including industry events and client meetings
• Experience writing proposals and scope of works in a client facing role.
