Job summary

Westpac is seeking a Manager, Enterprise Functions Assurance, Risk in Sydney. You will lead independent assurance reviews across Finance, People, Legal & Secretariat, Group Sustainability and Risk, testing controls and deriving insights to strengthen risk management outcomes.

The role offers hybrid work and a permanent, full-time arrangement. You should have 4+ years in assurance, internal audit, operational risk, or risk advisory, with strong analytical and communication skills to translate

Qualifications

• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience with data analytics-based testing or automated testing is desirable.
• Experience conducting root cause analysis and identifying systemic issues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent assurance reviews across Finance, People, Legal & Secretariat, Group Sustainability and Risk.
• Dive into processes, test controls, uncover insights and influence risk management outcomes with stakeholders across the bank.
• Build deep knowledge across multiple business areas while driving practical, evidence-based assurance improvements.
