Job summary

Dyno Nobel Limited in Brisbane is leading the implementation of a modern data platform to transform global finance data and reporting. This role is hybrid and based at the Brisbane HQ, focusing on turning multi-source data into reliable datasets for monthly reporting, forecasting and analysis.

The Role

This hands-on role will make a tangible impact on the Group’s finance data and reporting capability. You will support the implementation of the Group’s modern data platform, working closely with Finance and IT to establish a scalable data foundation.

You will transform data from multiple source systems into controlled, reconciled and reporting-ready datasets for monthly reporting, forecasting and analysis.

Based at Brisbane HQ, this full-time role offers hybrid working.

• Partner with IT to design and implement the Group’s modern data platform
• Translate finance requirements into scalable data and reporting solutions
• Own the accuracy, completeness and integrity of Finance data
• Develop standardised datasets, data models and Power BI reports
• Automate manual reporting processes while maintaining financial controls
• Coordinate solution design, testing, implementation and improvement

What you’ll bring

• You must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance culture
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, finance systems or a related field
• Experience transforming data from multiple systems into reporting-ready datasets
• SQL skills and experience with Databricks, Snowflake or similar platforms
• Strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting and reconciliation
• Hands-on problem-solving, project delivery and stakeholder-management skills
