Job summary

Red Hat in Canberra is seeking a Manager for the Global Professional Services team. In this hybrid leadership role, you will develop your people and drive the region's professional services sales and delivery performance, focusing on the ANZ Public Sector Consulting delivery team.

You will collaborate with Sales and Pre-Sales, shape proposals, approve delivery platforms, and build strong relationships with government customers to grow bookings, revenue and margins while mentoring consultants

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales or supporting the sales of professional services.
• Direct, hands-on experience in people management with a track record of talent development.
• Experience in customer-facing roles as a professional services consultant.
• Knowledge of project management processes and revenue-based project reporting.
• Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Collaborate with Sales & Pre-Sales to scope Consulting Services solutions.
• Review proposals ensuring customer needs are defined and aligned.

Job SummaryThe Red Hat Global Professional Services team is seeking a Manager to join us in Canberra, Australia. In this hybrid leadership role, you will be responsible for two core pillars: the professional development of your team and the commercial success of your region’s professional services sales and delivery. You will lead a section of the ANZ Public Sector Consulting delivery team, focusing on a segment of our Government business within the Canberra region. You will partner with the Sales team to promote sales and business development for Consulting Services across the region to achieve targeted bookings, revenue and margin numbers. You'll propose solutions along with strategic consulting offerings to increase the value of our support services and serve as the main point of contact for customers to ensure that their talent & delivery needs are met in a timely manner. As a Manager, you will oversee rates, project costs, terms, and conditions for consulting services based on corporate standards and guidelines.
