Westpac is seeking a Manager Compliance Incidents to lead assessments of regulatory incidents across Consumer, Customer & Corporate Services, and Group Functions. You will partner with first and second lines for incident investigations and apply privacy, lending, and banking obligations to deliver robust, well-supported assessments.

As a Manager in Compliance Incidentsteam, you'll perform compliance assessments of incidents that may be reportable to regulators, including ASIC, APRA and BCCC,arising across the Consumer Division, Customer & Corporate Services Division and Group Functions.
Sitting within the Chief Compliance Office in the second line of defence, you will partner with stakeholders across first and second lines to support incident investigations and deliver well supported compliance assessments.
You'll apply relevant regulatory requirement; and independently assess compliance breaches, across a range of statutory and industry obligations, including privacy, responsible lending, hardship, Banking Code of Practice, misleading and deceptive conduct, general licensee obligations, design & distribution obligations, debt collection, and prudential standards.
While you may be an expert across every regulatory area from day one, you will build your knowledge through training, practical experience and access to subject matter experts. You'll have access to training and subject matter experts as you build your knowledge across privacy, responsible lending, hardship, the Banking Code of Practice and other relevant obligations.
This is a permanent, full-time role with flexibility to be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Adelaide.
