The Australian War Memorial is seeking a Manager, Collection & Digital Asset Management Systems to lead the development, maintenance, user support and training for the Memorial’s CMS and DAMS. The Manager, Collection & Digital Asset Management Systems (CDAMS) leads the development, maintenance, user support and training program for the Memorial’s Collection Management Systems (CMS), ingesting of digital assets and their integration with Collection records. The position also plays a leading role in the integration of the CMS with the Digital Asset Management System and provides strategic direction and management of the integrated system, policies and user groups.
This position is part of the Collection Services management team and is a critical leadership position in the section. The Manager, CDAMS is responsible for staff management and development of the CDAMS team, as well as leadership of the CMS users across the Memorial.
This position will initially be filled up until January 2027, with the possibility for extension and/or permanency.
Under section 22(8) of the Public Service Act 1999, employees must be Australian citizens to be employed in the Australian Public Service (APS).
