Job summary

Wesley Mission Queensland Limited is seeking a Clinical Care Manager for Nash Court Aged Care Community in Sinnamon Park, Brisbane. You will provide senior clinical leadership, drive high-quality, person-centred care, and lead a multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent resident outcomes.

This fixed-term role (until 19 November 2027) reports to the Residential Manager and focuses on clinical governance, quality improvement and staff development in a supportive, values-driven not-for-profit

Qualifications

• Extensive senior clinical leadership experience in aged care or related healthcare.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary clinical teams and improving resident outcomes.
• Experience in managing clinical risk, quality indicators, audits and compliance.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse is current.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and aged care clearances as required.
• Postgraduate qualifications in Gerontology or Aged Care.

Your Role as our Nash Court Aged Care Manager

Based at Nash Court Aged Care Community, Sinnamon Park, as our Clinical Manager you will provide a pivotal leadership role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional, person-centred care. Reporting to the Residential Manager, you will lead and support the clinical team to achieve outstanding resident outcomes while fostering a culture of clinical excellence, quality improvement, and continuous learning.

This fixed-term opportunity is available until 19 November 2027.

As our Manager - Clinical Care, you will:

• To actively promote and support the delivery of superior high-quality care.
• Set overall margin, growth and financial performance objectives for RAC home based on budget.
• Provide transformational, inspired and visionary leadership that understands empowerment.
• Role model and promote the Wesley Charter and to build a culture that is positive.
• Create an environment that supports the journey of learning and development for self and staff.
• Provides team members with opportunities to bring forth their ideas for change management and bright ideas for improvement.
• Actively contribute to continuous quality improvement activities designed to improve the quality of care and services
• Ensure a high degree of safety and well-being for all who live, work and visit the facility.

What We're Looking For

• Extensive experience in senior clinical leadership within aged care or a related healthcare setting.
• Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary clinical teams and driving high-quality resident outcomes.
• Proven experience managing clinical risk, quality indicators, audits and compliance activities.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ policy, including NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and applicable aged care clearances.
• Postgraduate qualifications in Gerontology, Aged Care or a related clinical specialty.
