Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Venue Manager for regional Queensland venues. You will manage and operate pubs, lead venue teams, and oversee food, beverage and gaming operations where applicable.

You will drive venue performance, KPIs and commercial outcomes, while maintaining a hands-on leadership style and strong community engagement.

Relocation to a regional Queensland venue for at least 12 months is required, with a focus on building sustainable operations and a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience managing pubs or pub-based hospitality environments.
• Strong operational knowledge across food, beverage and gaming environments where applicable.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and retain venue teams.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of venue performance and KPIs.
• Hands-on leadership style and willingness to be part of the local community.
• Ability to relocate and commit to regional location for at least 12 months.
• Genuine pub operations experience; traditional hotel/motel accommodation-management experience without a strong pub background is unlikely to meet the requirements.
