Job summary

Voak, a Canberra-based, Australian-owned consulting firm, is seeking high-performing Management Consultants for the Technology Advisory practice specializing in program and project management across technology transformation. The role supports Federal Government and Defence initiatives, requires NV1 clearance, and is Canberra-based.

You will work with leaders to turn strategy and architecture into realised benefits, manage complex ICT programs, and collaborate across vendors to deliver value.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex ICT programs and projects for Federal Government and Defence.
• Experience managing complex transformation, change and innovation initiatives for Federal Government and Defence.
• Demonstrated capability in integrated transition planning, schedule, and dependency management.
• Strong experience identifying, assessing, managing, and reporting risks and issues, with the judgement to know what needs escalating and what does not.
• Experience working across multiple vendors, contracts, and service providers, including transition activities to support onboarding and disengagement.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with an ability to remain flexible and effective when managing ambiguity, adapting to evolving priorities and stakeholder needs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to produce governance artefacts, briefing material and executive reporting that stand up to scrutiny.
• A commitment to delivery excellence, and a collaborative approach that lifts the people around you.

Management Consultant - Technology Advisory - Program & Project Management

Voak is seeking high-performing consultants with program and project management experience across technology transformation initiatives to join our growing technology advisory capability. From Manager, Senior Manager and Director levels, we are looking for motivated, collaborative professionals who thrive in ambiguity, enjoy solving complex problems, and are driven to turn plans into realised benefits for our clients and Australia.

• Experience leading complex ICT programs and projects for Federal Government and Defence, across domains such as cloud, infrastructure, applications, data or cyber security
• Experience managing complex transformation, change and innovation initiatives for Federal Government and Defence
• Demonstrated capability in integrated transition planning, schedule, and dependency management
• Strong experience identifying, assessing, managing, and reporting risks and issues, with the judgement to know what needs escalating and what does not

This position requires an NV1 Security Clearance at a minimum and is strictly Canberra-based.
