Acu-Tech Piping Systems, a leading Australian manufacturer, seeks a Management Accountant to join the Finance team. You will help turn data into insights and partner with leaders across our national manufacturing network.

Role covers month-end, budgeting, forecasting, process improvements and business partnering to drive performance. A proactive, detail-oriented candidate with manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualificações

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance.
• CA or CPA qualified, or working towards completion.
• 2-5 years' experience in a management accounting, financial accounting or similar commercial finance role.
• Strong experience with month-end reporting, reconciliations and financial analysis.
• Experience preparing management reports and providing commentary on business performance.
• Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• The ability to communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
• A proactive approach, with the ability to take ownership and drive outcomes.
• Experience within manufacturing, industrial or operational environments will be highly regarded.

As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a Management Accountant to join our Finance team and play a key role in supporting sound decision-making across the business.

The Opportunity

This is more than a traditional management accounting role.

We're looking for someone who enjoys understanding how a business operates, can turn financial data into meaningful insights, and wants to work closely with stakeholders across a national manufacturing organisation.

You’ll be involved in everything from month end reporting and analysis through to budgeting, forecasting, process improvement and business partnering. This role offers exposure to a broad range of commercial and operational activities, providing the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of how finance contributes to business performance.

What You'll Be Doing

Manage month-end processes, including journals, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations and reporting.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a commercially minded accountant who is curious, proactive and enjoys working as part of the business, not just behind a spreadsheet.

You Will Ideally Have

Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance.

CA or CPA qualified, or working towards completion.

2-5 years' experience in a management accounting, financial accounting or similar commercial finance role.

Strong experience with month-end reporting, reconciliations and financial analysis.

Experience preparing management reports and providing commentary on business performance.

Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

The ability to communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

A proactive approach, with the ability to take ownership and drive outcomes.

Experience within manufacturing, industrial or operational environments will be highly regarded.
