Job summary

QinetiQ Australia is seeking a Site Supervisor to lead the MakerSpace in Darwin. You will oversee daily operations, safety, training, and program delivery, ensuring alignment with governance and procurement guidance.

Ideal candidates have hands-on fabrication and CAD experience, with a defence-clearance pathway available. Recent STEM graduates are welcome, and flexibility to support remote sites is required.

Qualifications

• Australian Defence security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Experience operating fabrication machines and related software.
• Recent graduates from STEM disciplines are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day MakerSpace site operations following policy and direction.
• Induct and authorize all users and maintain safety at the site.
• Manage materials stock, procurement, and maintenance of equipment.
• Deliver user training and MakerSpace programs, including remote sites as needed.
• Collaborate with defence and program teams to promote capabilities.
