Central Highlands Regional Council in Emerald, QLD is seeking a Program Costing Officer to support capital projects with costing, financial management, procurement and project administration. You will monitor project expenditure, provide timely reports, assist with grants claims, and help ensure projects stay financially on track.

This is a detail‑driven role offering a supportive team environment and opportunities to contribute to community infrastructure.

Qualificações

• Experience reporting on expenditure.
• Relevant experience in project cost management.
• Strong Excel and Office skills.
• Good literacy, numeracy and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Confidentiality and professional judgement.
• Customer service orientation.

Responsabilidades

• Undertake daily costing transactions and revenue claims for projects and work orders.
• Monitor project financial position and provide early warnings of deviations.
• Prepare End of Month and ad-hoc financial reports for project tracking.
• Provide costing and financial administration support to project teams.
• Support grants reporting and claims management.
• Ensure good governance in financial and admin responsibilities.
• Work within Local Government framework and Code of Conduct.
• Participate in training and continuous improvement.
• Maintain health and safety compliance.
