Job summary

Anglo American Steelmaking Coal is hiring for permanent underground mechanical maintenance roles at our Aquila operation in Queensland. You will perform mechanical maintenance on underground mining equipment, ensure compliance with safety standards, and support production targets.

Eligible candidates hold a Certificate III in Engineering: Mechanical, current Standard 11, and proven underground maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Engineering: Mechanical or equivalent.
• Current Standard 11 (Surface & Underground).
• Proven mechanical maintenance experience within an underground coal mine.
• Experience delivering best practice mechanical maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate to ensure all work is completed in full compliance with safety standards and statutory requirements.
• Perform mechanical maintenance on a wide range of underground mining equipment to support safe and reliable operations.
