Job summary

Novotel Hotels in Sydney is seeking an experienced on-site maintenance professional to support daily hotel operations by handling a broad range of maintenance requests across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.

You will perform daily plant rounds, identify faulty equipment, and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure spaces are returned to service promptly. Documentation of all tasks and preventative schedules is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar maintenance role.
• Ability to manage a wide range of maintenance tasks across guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces.
• Strong coordination and communication with hotel departments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day maintenance requests via HubOS.
• Conduct daily plant rounds and identify equipment needing repair.
• Liaise with departments regarding works in guest rooms and public areas; ensure spaces are returned to service promptly.
• Accurately record all maintenance tasks (completed and outstanding), including repairs and preventative maintenance schedules.
