Job summary

Novotel Sydney Darling Square is seeking a Maintenance Technician on a part-time basis to ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are well maintained. You will respond to maintenance requests, perform routine plant rounds, and coordinate with departments to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role/hotel environment preferred.
• Self-motivated and able to work well individually and in a team.
• Have the ability to work a variety of shifts across the week.
• Experience in operating a variety of equipment, including small hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the day-to-day maintenance requests via HubOS.
• Complete daily plant rounds and identify any equipment that appears faulty or requires repair.
• Liaise with relevant departments regarding works in guest rooms and public areas, ensuring out-of-order spaces are returned to service promptly.
• Accurately record all maintenance tasks (completed and outstanding), including repairs and preventative maintenance schedules.

At Novotel Sydney Darling Square we are currently in the hunt for a Maintenance Technician to join us on a Part Time basis.

Job Description

This role is ideal for someone experienced in a similar position who can confidently manage a wide range of maintenance tasks. You will support the day-to-day operation of the hotel by responding promptly to maintenance requests and ensuring our guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.

What You Will Be Doing
