Novotel Sydney Darling Square is seeking an Assistant Manager - Food & Beverage to lead daily F&B operations across the hotel and Pumphouse. You will mentor teams, manage guest feedback, and uphold brand standards with a strong focus on guest experiences in a vibrant Sydney setting.

Qualifications

• Leadership or supervisory experience in hotel F&B operations.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Working alongside our Director of Culinary you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the day-to-day F&B operations working across the hotel, conferencing and our iconic venue Pumphouse. You will lead by example in delivering exceptional guest experiences, managing guest feedback professionally, resolving concerns promptly and identifying opportunities to continuously enhance service delivery.

What you will be doing:

• Support the daily operation of all Food & Beverage operations through the hotel and Pumphouse.
• Assist with controlling departmental costs by assisting with rostering, stock control, ordering, inventory management and minimising wastage.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members to build capability and deliver outstanding guest experiences.
• Ensure brand standards, service procedures and presentation standards are consistently achieved.
• Maintain high food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with all departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Qualifications
