Hotel Morris is one of Sydney’s most charming boutique hotels, blending Italianate heritage with contemporary design and warm, personal service. As part of the Accor Handwritten Collection, we celebrate character, craft, and the small touches that make a stay memorable.

We’re looking for a Duty Technician to join our Maintenance team in a part‑time or casual capacity. This role is ideal for someone seeking 15 hours per week across three days (e.g. Monday, Tuesday, Friday). It would suit a semi‑retiree, a hands‑on all‑rounder, or someone looking for a balanced, steady role in a friendly, design‑led hotel environment.

About the Role

• Carrying out preventative maintenance across guest rooms and public areas
• Using and maintaining general tools and equipment confidently and safely
• Completing basic plumbing tasks (e.g. unblocking drains, minor leaks)
• Performing basic painting, patching, and repair work
• Supporting reactive maintenance requests as they arise
• Assisting with contractor coordination and site access (nice to have, not essential)
• Ensuring all work is completed to brand standards and logged accurately
• White Card certified prepared
• This is a hands‑on role where pride in workmanship, reliability, and a calm, guest‑focused approach go a long way.
