Job summary

Rodpak in Melbourne is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep pallet manufacturing operations running safely, efficiently, and reliably. You will work hands-on with a range of production equipment, including saws, conveyors, forklifts, nail guns, and automated machinery.

Trade-qualified or extensive mechanical experience is welcomed; you’ll perform preventative and breakdown maintenance, support installations, and contribute to continuous improvement with production teams to optimise safety

• Strong mechanical maintenance and repair experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Proven mechanical aptitude and proactive troubleshooting.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance to maximise plant reliability and minimise downtime
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults quickly and effectively
• Assist with the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, reliability, and operational performance
• Work closely with production teams to ensure equipment remains safe, functional, and efficient

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in keeping our pallet manufacturing operations running safely, efficiently, and reliably.

Whether you're trade-qualified or bring extensive mechanical experience and aptitude, you'll enjoy a hands-on role maintaining and improving a wide range of production equipment, including saws, conveyors, forklifts, nail guns, and automated machinery.

Key Responsibilities
