Hyne Timber in Tumbarumba is seeking an experienced Maintenance Team Leader to guide a dedicated maintenance crew, ensuring safe, efficient and reliable plant operation at our Tumbarumba Mill.
You will provide leadership, coaching and direction, drive maintenance planning, improvements and contractor management, with a strong focus on safety and team development. Relocation support is available in a genuinely welcoming regional community.
Qualifications
- Trade or engineering background required.
- Previous leadership experience or demonstrated leadership potential.
- Strong communication skills.
- Commitment to safety and team development.
- Industrial maintenance experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, coaching and direction to the maintenance team to ensure safe, efficient and reliable plant operation.
- Lead maintenance planning and execution to minimize downtime and optimize reliability.
- Drive reliability improvement initiatives and standard work across the team.
- Manage contractors and ensure safety and compliance during maintenance activities.
